Hey team – it’s your second favorite PGL (pace group leader)
I hope everyone is gearing up for tomorrow’s long run in Arvada! I’ll be running 14 miles tomorrow with the group and 4 early. In case you wanted a reminder, here are our splits for our training runs:
Race day Goal pace = 8:35
Ave. Saturday training pace = 9:50
Mile 1 = 10:50
Mile 2 = 10:20
First third = 10:00 avg.
Second third = 9:40 avg.
Final third = 9:20 avg.
Last mile (cool down) = 10:50
I’m currently training for the Oklahoma City Memorial marathon on April 28 and will try to let you know my mileage in advance for reference.
