Why I run:
STRESS!!! I really think running made me a better parent.

Hobbies (other than running):
Target shooting, dog training and learning Gaelic.

Favorite place to run:
Any place with trees early in the morning. One of my most memorable runs was an early morning run. I ran down into a little valley that was full of mist, I came out on the other side just as the sun was coming up. It was a beautiful sunrise. It felt like a Nike commercial.

Favorite race:
Boulder Bolder. It's a happenin! It's so much easier now!

Favorite shoe:
1984 Brooks Chariot, alas no more!

Most embarrassing running moment:
Running with my little old doggie in the spring after a snow storm. I jumped up on a curb on some gravel and the two of us slid across the sidewalk on my rear, at a red light in front of all the stopped traffic.

Favorite post-run indulgence:
A latte with friends after our Saturday runs

Where I keep my medals:
They are hanging in my bedroom where I see them first thing in the morning.

If I could go on a run with anyone, dead or alive, it would be:
Rosa Mota!

My biggest fan(s):
My boy friend Jay, my daughter Amy and my big dog!

Favorite Runner's Edge Moment:
My most memorable was not running, it was volunteering at the Boulder Backroad aid station with the group. BB was my first half marathon the year before. As the last straglers were walking, limping and close to crawling in, my heart just went out to them. I told Deana that I felt like we needed to go get them, so we did. We went out and walked people in doing our best to motivate them. I think it really made a difference to some of them.

I bet you didn't know:
I used to run fast!
